Clarinex is usually taken once a day, prefereably in the morning. It is better to have it along with a meal. Do not crush the tablet while having it, swallow it whole with a glass of water for better results. If you have been prescribed the liquid form of the medicine, measure it before having it. Ask your pharmacist for a measuring cap if you do not already have one. In most minor cases, doctors may suggest a replacement dose as long as more than four hours remain until the next actual due dose. However, if a patient suffering from serious conditions misses a dose, the doctor may need to examine him and accordingly advise him on what to do next based on the physical difficulties experienced due to the missed dose.
