Creon 25 Drug Description

Creon 25 is the brand name of a medicine that belongs to the group of medications known as digestants. It contains the digestive enzyme pancreatin. Pancreatin is secreted by the pancreas and is a combination of enzymes that aid in digestion of proteins, fat and carbohydrate. Protease, amylase and lipase are the enzymes present in pancreatin. The spheres contain pancreatin and the special coating helps to protect the granules from being digested by the stomach acids.
