Oxytrol Drug Description

Oxytrol is a medication drug primarily made up of Oxybutynin. Oxybutynin is an antispasmodic antichollinergic agent. It is a white powder that is highly soluble in alcohol but insoluble in water. If there are blockages in the stomach or intestines then it is better to avoid the medication. If you are unable to urinate then the medicine is not advisable for you. After beginning treatment patients should continuously be observed for anticholinergic CNS effects. Oxytrol Side Effects

It is common for patients to suffer from various kinds of side effects when on the medication. As a result, it is advisable to inform your doctor of any discomfort you experience once you are on the medication.

Oxytrol Drug Interactions

There are no specific severe drug interactions for Oxytrol. However, it is advisable to use other medicines while on Oxytrol with care and only after detailed consultation with your doctor. Be careful when you use other Anticholinergics and Cytochrome P450 inhibitors. In certain cases Anticholinergics and Cytochrome P450 inhibitors if consumed along with Oxytrol may lead to other complications or reduce the effect of Oxytrol.
