Oxytrol Drug Description

Oxytrol is a medication drug primarily made up of Oxybutynin. Oxybutynin is an antispasmodic antichollinergic agent. It is a white powder that is highly soluble in alcohol but insoluble in water. The medicine is a matrix type transdermal medicine that compromises three layers. The first layer is a backing film which is made of a thin polyester acetate material, the second layer is the adhesive drug layer while the third layer acts as a release liner.

Oxytrol Side Effects

It is common for patients to suffer from various kinds of side effects when on the medication. Oxytrol Drug Interactions

There are no specific severe drug interactions for Oxytrol. However, it is advisable to use other medicines while on Oxytrol with care and only after detailed consultation with your doctor. Be careful when you use other Anticholinergics and Cytochrome P450 inhibitors.
