Surmontil Drug Description

Surmontil is an oral drug primarily made up of Azepine Acid Maleate. The capsules contain varied amounts of Trimipramine Maleate too depending on the dose quantity. The drug also contains several inactive ingredients like Gelatin, Lactose, Titanium Dioxide, Magnesium Stearate, Benzyl Alcohol, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Sodium Propionate and more. Trimipramine Maleate is an odourless white or cream coloured substance which is soluble in Ether and Water, Chloroform and Methanol.

The drug largely falls under the category of Tricyclic antidepressants. It helps in the treatment of chemical imbalance in the brain. The medicine is often used to treat various kinds of depression. a.) Typical dosage recommendations
