At present, the average age of the population in most developed nations including Canada is increasing and OAB is poised to become a serious health concern in the near future. Symptoms of OAB include the urge to urinate frequently, sometimes more than eight times in a day. Sometimes, you may even leak urine before reaching the toilet (a condition known as urge incontinence). Though bladder training can help sometimes help you to curb the problem, taking suitable medication is the most effective solution. Toviaz is an extended-release tablet that is meant for oral administration. It is available in two strengths of 4mg and 8mg. The prime ingredient in Toviaz is fesoterodine fumarate. Toviaz 4mg tablet is light blue in colour, biconvex, oval shaped, film-coated and embossed with ‘FS’ on one side while Toviaz 8mg tablet is blue in colour, film-coated, biconvex, oval shaped and embossed with ‘FT’ on one side.
