Xylocaine 2% Drug Description

Xylocaine 2% is the brand name of a medication that is commonly used as a local anaesthetic for a wide range of indications. The medicine works by creating a numbing effect on the applied area. The lowest dosage is always administered and a further reduced dose is used for paediatric and geriatric patients.

Both Xylocaine 2% injection and jelly should be stored below 250C in a cool and dark place and never refrigerated.
