Tekturna (aliskiren)

Tekturna Description

Tekturna is a medicinal drug, which contains aliskiren. Aliskiren is categorized in a class of drugs known as rennin inhibitors. Aliskiren finds use in the treatment and lowering of high levels of blood pressure. It achieves this by reducing those substances the body that cause narrowing of the blood vessels and those substances that increase blood pressure.

• Potassium supplements like:

  • K-Dur (potassium chloride)
• Diuretics or water pills such as:
  • Lasix (ferosemide)
  • Midamor (amiloride)
  • Hydrodiuril (hydrochlorothiazide)
• Hypertension (high blood pressure) medications such as:
  • Norvasc (amlodipine)
  • Zestril (lisinopril)
  • Prinivil (lisinopril)
  • Bystolic (nebivolol)
  • Catapres (clonidine)
• Lipitor (atorvastatin)
• Zocor (simvastatin)
• Vytorin (ezetimibe/simvastatin)
• Simcor (niacin/simvastatin)
• Plavix (clopidogrel)
• Glucophage (metformin)
